July 1	Margo realizes she has to get home and gives Eddie her cell phone to call her in case of an emergency. A pleased Emily wakes up in Tom's lap. Tom wakes up and quickly apologizes for the faux pas. Hal stops by and surprises Tom when he informs him Margo's not on the Eddie case as she had claimed. Margo comes home and is surprised to see Emily in her robe but doesn't jump to any conclusions as she's too wrapped up in Eddie's dilemma. Eddie runs away from the boathouse when he sees Hal approach and calls Margo. She grabs the phone away from Tom, raising his suspicions even further.
July 2	Susan is suspicious of Emily's injuries. Margo covers the call from Tom while agreeing to meet Eddie. Tom demands Margo back off from searching for Eddie and Margo complies to get out of the house. Off what she learns from Eddie, Margo interrogates Emily. Tom's thrown by this and decides to follow Margo.
July 3	Susan presses Emily to admit she's lying and we see for the first time that Emily concocted the mugging story. Eddie hides at Fairwinds. Margo heads to Fairwinds and just before she reunites with Eddie, Tom catches her.
July 6	With Margo on his heels, Tom tears through Fairwinds searching for Eddie. Georgia manages to hide Eddie but he overhears Tom tell Margo all that she stands to lose for this kid. Tom calls the police and says he has a lead on Eddie. Susan begs Emily to stop lying and drop the charges against Eddie. A frustrated Emily goes to her car where Eddie is waiting for her.
July 7	Eddie offers Emily a deal: if she drops the charges, he won't tell everyone she's after Tom. Emily figures out that Margo's been hiding Eddie out and calls Eddie on his feelings for Margo. Eddie contacts Margo and agrees to be hypnotized by Ben in order to remember the night of the mugging. Margo asks Tom if he plans on turning her in for helping Eddie, but he doesn't betray her to Hal.
July 8	Ben hypnotizes Eddie but instead of remembering the mugging, he remembers kissing Margo. Out of love for Margo, Tom asks Emily to recount the mugging again, and Emily is hurt that he may not believe her. The pressure from her mother and Tom gets to Emily and it seems she may tell Tom the truth.
July 9	Eddie refuses to tell Ben and Margo what he's remembered. They convince Eddie to spend the night at Ben's. Eddie admits to Ben that he remembers kissing Margo, and Ben admits Margo already told him about the incident while assuring Eddie not to worry--it doesn't mean anything since he was sleepwalking. To himself, Eddie knows it does mean something. Emily pulls back and doesn't tell Tom the truth although she finally reveals to her mother that the mugging was a fabrication.
July 10	Off learning from Tom that Emily knows she hid Eddie, Margo goes to confront her. Emily freaks when she sees her mom talking to Margo. Emily's relieved when she learns her mother hasn't betrayed her and promises Margo she won't tell anyone that Margo hid Eddie. After Margo leaves, Emily gives the police an anonymous tip on Eddie. Margo is upset to learn from Ben that Eddie is missing and the two frantically search for him.
July 13	Eddie lies to Hal to cover for Margo so she won't get in trouble for helping him. Margo won't let Eddie create more trouble for himself but before she can implicate herself, Emily "saves the day" by admitting she made a mistake when she named Eddie as her mugger. Alone, Tom guesses Emily just said that to save Margo and Emily lies by agreeing, scoring points with Tom.

July 15	Tom convinces Margo, now that Eddie's off the hook, she has to let him out of their lives for the sake of her marriage and her family. Eddie tells Tom and Margo about his job at the Falcon Club and lies that he has a place to stay too. Margo prepares to tell Eddie he can't visit them.
July 16	With much difficulty, Margo tells Eddie not to come by the house anymore. Susan is surprised to learn that Emily didn't tell the whole truth -- that she was never mugged in the first place. Emily makes plans to go to New York with Tom to accept a journalism award...and she only books one room.
July 17	Susan confesses her daughter's false accusation at an AA meeting. Andy overhears and realizes she's talking about Emily/Eddie.
July 20	Margo goes back on her word to Tom and helps Eddie pay for a roof over his head. Meanwhile, Tom and Emily "accidentally" kiss on the lips but Tom excuses it. Emily is alerted when Andy questions her about Eddie's mugging and yells at Susan when her mother admits to talking about Emily at her AA meeting. When Tom gets home, he and Margo end up making passionate love.

July 23	Eddie is blown away by Margo's continued support and generosity. Eddie has a romantic fantasy of Margo and is jolted out of it by her return. After hearing Andy pressuring Susan to tell Margo the truth about Eddie's mugging, Emily assigns him to a photo shoot in Alaska so he can't ruin her chance with Tom. Tom and Emily arrive in New York and Emily acts surprised by their one room hotel reservation.
July 24	While helping Eddie fix his place up, Margo spills paint on herself and Eddie walks in on her changing. Later, Eddie confesses he wants to tell Margo something. Meanwhile, at the award show, Tom salutes Emily with a moving speech. They return to the hotel room, high on life and champagne, and when Tom passes out, Emily slips off her dress and climbs into bed with him.
July 27	Tom passes out after the awards ceremony, and Emily takes off her clothes and crawls in bed with him. Thinking she's Margo, Tom pulls Emily into a kiss then passes out again. Eddie tries to work up the courage to tell Margo how he feels.
July 28	Tom is startled when he wakes up with a naked Emily "sleeping" next to him. Before he can deal with the awkwardness with Emily, Margo is knocking on the door to give them a surprise visit. They cover and a trusting Margo is not at all suspicious while Tom feels terribly guilty.

July 30	Eddie is upset when he finds out Margo went to see Tom in New York. Georgia and Eddie act out what they want to say to Sam and "Lizzie" (Margo) to each other.
July 31	Eddie plans to tell Margo how he feels until he overhears her declare her love for Tom. Deena's drug cohorts want Eddie to pick up where his mom left off. When Eddie refuses, one of the guys pulls out a knife and Georgia runs to Margo for help.
