December 18 |
Tom, Margo, and Lien go to the Mona Lisa for dinner after shopping. Shannon and Duncan invite Tom and Margo to an open house on the Friday before New Year's. Lyla stops by Tom and Margo's table to explain how she changed the downstairs of the house for Casey's return. Lyla thanks Tom who offered to buy and drop off the Christmas tree for Lyla while Margo is going to Massachusetts to pick up Casey and bring him home. Sawyer is introduced to Tom and Margo. Sawyer just flew Craig to Montega and is flying Margo to Boston. Lyla sings "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas". Tom and Margo hold hands. |
December 19 |
Tom and Frannie bring Lyla a Christmas tree. In Boston, Margo packs up Casey, while Casey tries to walk with his crutches. He is cracking jokes with Margo. Margo tells Casey he hasn't lost his sense of humor. On the plane, Margo tells Casey how she and Tom got through rough times and once you do you've got it made. Tom leaves Lyla's to go back to the office were he is expecting a call from Joe Bailey. Tom says he will return as soon as possible. Back on the plane, Casey continues to tell Margo how worried he is about what his condition will do to Ly dealing with it each day. He has financial concerns too. Casey speaks realistically to Margo with his worries. Margo tells Casey that they would help him financially if needed. Casey speaks of the past and his inability to hold Kate, dance with Ly and chase her around in a gorilla mask. Margo reassures Casey of Ly's love for him. Lyla and Casey's song, "From Now On" plays while flashbacks of Casey and Lyla's romance are shown, after Lyla tells Katie that her daddy is coming home. Tom, Lyla, and Katie greet Casey and Margo at the Peretti's home. |
December 20 |
Interrupted due to a special report. Tom, Margo, Lien, and Duke have coffee and snacks at home. Tom offers Lien a car loan for Christmas. They discuss Andy's drinking and Julie, along with what is going on at Bob and Kim's house. Joe Bailey calls for Tom. |
December 22 |
Margo, Tom, and Adam arrive at Lyla and Casey's with presents. Tom and Lyla discuss Casey and how she feels he might get better now that he is at home. Margo and Casey discuss Lyla and how she has her hopes up and the front he must put up for Ly's sake. Tom, Duke, and Lien bring Casey and Lyla to Bob and Kim's for Christmas Eve. Tom plays the piano and leads the Hughes clan in song. |

At the police station, Tom and Margo get caught kissing by Hal after Tom cancels on Margo for lunch. Margo and Hal discuss Barbara's feelings and actions with Paul. Hal asks Margo if he can keep a picture of him and Adam on his desk. Margo and Hal go to the Mona Lisa for lunch. Barbara crashes lunch and Margo leaves. Tom meets Joe Bailey and Finley in the park to discuss the Lombard family/industries and Finley's undercover position. Conversation is not to be discussed with Margo. Tom expresses interest in Emily and Ellie's involvement. Margo visits Casey, when she goes to spend time with Adam. Casey tells her about losing his temper at Ly. Hal stops by to spend time with his son. Tom stops by the Mona Lisa looking for Margo and has a scotch on the rocks at the bar. Tom tells Ellie to take care of herself. Margo and Hal arrive back at the station to find Paul looking at the photo of Hal and Adam. Barbara walks in on Margo in Hal's arms and the photo on his desk. |
December 28 |
At home, Margo surprises Tom and Joe who were having a secret meeting about using Emily and Ellie as bait for the Lombards, placing them in danger. Joe leaves; Tom and Margo embrace before picking up Adam. Margo and Tom discuss Casey and Lyla. Bob stops by for a cup of coffee and spends time with Adam. Bob tells Tom about Andy's drinking problem again and how Kim is spending all her time with John. Tom tells Bob how he sees what a bond there is between two people when they have children together. He mentions how he watches it between Hal and Margo everyday. |
December 29 |
Interrupted by a Special Report. Tom, Margo, Adam, and Lien are at Lyla's with family and friends. Tom and Margo stop at Kim and Bob's to see if they want a ride to Shannon and Duncan's party. At the party, Tom seems preoccupied. |
