So here is some of my poetry, I am no poet of course, it is just a hobbie. I enjoy writing from time to time, usually when I can not find someone to share my thoughts with or when I fear I will forget something profound.

Completion

Darkness,
as empty as an eternal pit,
it spans all space and defies time.
It has been this way before what is was.
Acceptance,
the ultimate price of all,
of that which cycles unending and without cause.
The complete work our existence,
will it ever matter?
How will it survive.


Insomnia

It escapes me.
I chase it, then failure.
The air is my companion.
My chest pushes out another breath.
I wonder when peace will greet me, and comfort me
through the long journey of night.
Dawn dances through my window and again
there has been no freedom from my mind.


Untitled

Night falls,
and slowly, warmth abandons me.
Solitude and silence offer cold companionship.
I am weak.
I long for something more.
Tired, searching, waiting
and hoping for the liberation of morning to come.


Bliss

My mind is like the breath
seeping out of my lungs.
Nothingness has vanished.
Time nurtures the seed of wonder briefly,
then rapes the chasms of my mind.
My life is simple, but that is enough.
Amazing what one finds in the laughter of a child.


Alone Once More

Drowning in the memories of your warm embrace,
I relinquish to the silence of one.
The fleeting moment that was us
stains my thoughts and I am lost in the weight upon my chest.
Solemn rage ravages my sleep. My dreams raped by the absence of your breath.
What was before and what is now, the only difference an experience of you.
