During their travels in deep space, the Sharks encountered a clan squadron that was quite similar to their own, the Rangers' Blue Lightning Squadron. Having enjoyed initial casual interaction, two Leaders of the clans decided to schedule a tournament to bring the groups closer together!The tournament was aimed at getting the Sharks and the Rangers' Blue Squad together for some fun! Consequently, this tournament was a little different, as -=Quasar=- explains: "As a rule, one side or the other comes into the arena with the thought in mind that they will put down the opposing group. This IS NOT what this little get together is about. Anyone taking that attitude will not be permitted to play. I want to again emphasize that this is for FUN, organized fun, nothing more. Win or lose, doesn't matter."
Along these lines, the tournament was a Shark/Ranger Team Play Tournament. This meant that 1) the tournament was a two-person team tournament and 2) each team consisted of one Shark and one Ranger. The tournament was a resounding success! Shark, ^^Requin^^ and :Ironman: won in the final round by a narrow margain.
The tournament loosely followed Clan Shark's Rules of Engagement.

* The tournament started with one less Ranger than was required. For that reason, SharkDen stepped forward to help out by teaming with Dynamic, even though this meant there was a team consisting of two Sharks. Then, we needed another substitute because both a Ranger and a Shark dropped. Mako and SharkDen (again) stepped forward to help out. Thanks, Guys!
