Climbing

Each year we offer a ** FREE ** climbing class.
Our Basic Climbing Class, in the Fall, is for beginning climbers or those who need a refresher in the basic skills of traditional roped alpine climbing. Click on the link for details of this class.
If there is sufficient interest, we may offer a Lead Climbing Class in the spring, which introduces graduates of the Basic Climbing Class to the art and pseudo-science of leading fifth class rock climbs.

Our climbers tend to operate on the fringes of the club and don't make too many meetings, so you won't see many trips listed in the Upcoming Activities. However, if you're interested in hooking up with some climbers, drop us a line and we'll point you in the right direction.
