What on earth is a WEGES?

Well I'm glad you asked. It stands for
Wednesday Evening Gourmet Eating Society
...and is pronounced Wedgies.

Every now and again we select one of the valley's eateries and the gastronomes among us head out to gorge ourselves. For no particular reason it's usually on a Wednesday, but sometimes it's on a Thursday in which case it's a ThEGES. If it was on a Tuesday it would be a TEGES, figure out the rest yourself.

These are often arranged at short notice, sometimes only by word of mouth so don't always expect to see them in the Upcoming Activities. If you do see one that sounds good, please let the organizer know so they can book reservations.
