Lucca is the brains of the group. She sees everything as having a scientific solution, even after she learns to use magic. She, as far as we know, is Crono's best and only friend. She lives in the year 1000AD with her father, Taban, and her mother, Lara.
Throughout the game Lucca becomes more skilled with her "gun" and later uses her skill in science to create her most powerful weapon the "WonderShot". Her skills in magic also improve throughout the game and eventually she learns her most powerful spell "Flare".
We meet Lucca when Crono and Marle go to see her new invention. This invention, the "telepod", transports a person from one "pod" to the other "pod" where ever it may be. When Crono steps in, it works fine; however, when Marle steps in an adventure and quest are born...
