This started out so simply four years ago. Adi challenged me to write a fic where I didn't put all my toys away at the end. I changed things and they stayed changed. From that simply challenge spun a very challenging tale, one that began with the end of the world and just kept going.
My neverending thanks to her for all her plottage and hard work and between the two of us, we created one hell of an alternate universe

Summary- Way back when, I was making fun of the show's writers and taking bets on how they would 'fix' heroes to make it a happy ending. Thankfully, they didn't. (not that I like what happened, but I'm glad they didn't take the easy way out). Someone challenged me to write my ideas down on paper, and out came a fic. An alternate ending to Heroes. Not meant to 'fix' a brilliant episode, just making a different ending.

This fic was nominated in the 2004 Media West Fan Q awards and is one of many AU's I played in during that year. It came from the idea of, what if Hathor was ticked off enough at Sam to take her hostage at the end of the episode, and how things would play out if that happened.
