SITM (Barabanki) is conducting both, the Under graduate and post graduate courses under UP Technical University Lucknow.
Under graduate Courses:
The Institute is running B. Tech courses in many branches in engineering like: Electronics & Communication Engineering (EC), Computer Science & Engineering (CS&E), Information Technology (IT), Electrical & Electronic Engineering
(EEE) & Mechanical Engineering (ME), Applied Electronics & instrumentation(AEI),Electrical
Engineering(EE). These courses are approved by AICTE and conducted under UP Technical University.
Post Graduate Degree Courses:
Mater in business administration conducted by the institute under UP technical University is also approved by AICTE.
The admission to these courses is as per the State Government policy and in accordance with the AICTE norms. For the current session 85% admissions are through State Entrance Exam, conducted by U. P. Technical University (SEE-UPTU) and for 15% (Management quota)+ left over seats the admission is done by the institution as per the directions received from state Govt. through UPTU
