Boy, oh boy... where to start?
I stopped doing design work 2 years after college and traded in my computer for scrubs and a mask... became an Oral and Maxillofacial surgical assistant! (go figure) While there, met the man who was crazy enough to ask me to be his wife! Married since 1996 and Kelly (my husband) and I have a son... Zachary who was born June 1998. Turning 3 tomorrow, in fact! (And, I can't neglect to mention our 1 yr. old Bassett Hound "Bailey". Man, he's a low-ridin' porker! ) Been a "Professional Mom" since Zachary came along... Enjoy riding horses very much and am trying to better my English Dressage skills. Compulsive about working on gardens and updating our house we bought a couple of years ago. So busy, but so happy. After leaving Shaker, I spent 4 great years in Rochester...freezing my butt off. Since I was always curious about different languages/cultures, I took a few different language classes -- one being American Sign Language (ASL).
I took a year off before moving to Virginia to pursue a MA degree at Gallaudet University. (That's the one with all the deaf people.) My entire grad school experience was in another language...very cool.
I guess I did pretty well because I am now teaching both ASL and English (to hearing students) at NoVa Community College. Great vacation time! My ultimate goal is to teach English to deaf adults.
Met the love of my life in grad school & began dating 2 years ago. No marriage proposal yet !

I found my way back down south about seven or so years ago. Met a big, strong blacksmith, bought a house, and we've been together four years. I have a three year old daughter and for now I'm concentrating on staying at home and playing with her. My husband and I are heavily involved with the Society for Creative Anachronism, which focuses on recreating the best of medieval society. I am also a partner in a seamstressing business.

I tried Hudson Valley for a year and a half, then I realized what I didn't know about the Produce business they weren't going to teach me there.
I got married in 1997 to Lora, and have a little boy, John Jr. born in July of 98, and a little girl Sofia born in July of 00. I work in the Produce Industry supplying wholesalers and a local supermarket chain with the finest and freshest produce. My office is in the Menands Produce Market. My hobbies these days are my kids. When i'm not working they take up most of my free time.

After teaching for three years, I took a year off to go back to school to get my Master's in School Administration. Since then, I have gone back to teaching third grade. I have spent the past few summers traveling through Europe and hope to return there again this year.
Life in Washington is fun and exciting. Last spring I bought a condo right outside of the city in Arlington. Since then, I have been having fun working on home improvement projects!

I got married in '96 to Kevin (Nicole Falconio was my maid of honor and Katie Kerwin was there too.) Kevin is a firefighter for the city of Athens so I moved back and now work for Rocky Shoes and Boots as a graphic designer. We are planning kids soon.
