Abraham and Isaac on Mount Moriah
| Now it came to pass that God tested Abraham. He said "Take your only son Isaac and offer him as a burnt offering." . |
| So Abraham took his son and the two of them went up to the place of which God told him. |
| Isaac spoke and he ask "Where is the lamb for a burnt offering?" Abraham said, "My son, God will provide for Himself the lamb." |
| And Abraham built an altar and bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar and he took the knife to slay his son. |
| But the Angel of the Lord called and said "Do not lay your hand on the lad..for I know that you fear God." |
| Then Abraham looked and there was a ram. So he took the ram and offered it up for a burnt offering, and he called the name of the place "The-Lord-Will-Provide." |
