Noah releases the dove from the ARK
| The Faith of Noah . |
| Noah and his sons and his wife and his son's wives entered the ark to escape the waters of the flood. Pairs of all creatures that have the breath of live in them came to Noah and entered the ark. |
| The waters flooded the earth for a hundred and thirty days. And God remembered Noah and the water receded from the earth. |
| After forty-seven days Noah opened the window he had made in the ark. He reached oout his hand and took the dove again and sent it out. |
| When it returned to him in the evening, there was in its beak a freshly plucked olive leaf. Then Noah knew that the water had receded from the earth. |
| Then God said"Come out of the ark with all your family and animals and be fruitful and increase in number upon the earth. Never again will I destroy the earth with water. Whenever a rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everylasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." |
