BOTB Tryouts
This year six bands competed in the BOTB tryouts. There were going to be seven, but one of the bands did not show up. We found out later that their lead singer had quit. After a long day of setting up, taking down, and microphone complications, all the bands had finished playing and the judges had counted up the points. As it turns out, these were the bands that made the cut: Fargo Creek Groove, The Left-Overs, Imperfect, Funky Turtle Posse, and us. We were happy with the results, but we knew we had four more songs to learn in only a short period of time. It was time to get crackin'.
Skit Nite
A long time ago we played at Skit Nite. We played The Ocean, Aqualung, Patience, and Down With Disease. Playing Patience was the biggest mistake Rogan? ever made. One would have needed much patience just to listen to the whole song without falling asleep! We had fun doing that and were glad to keep the band fresh in the people's minds. This wasn't really a big deal, but it was one of the gigs we played. Maybe we can do Skit Nite next year.
Other
Rogan? would like to play for your party, wedding, or funeral for a small amount of money. If you would like some real entertainment, contact one of the band members. We will even play some songs that you request for us to learn weeks prior the the big event. You can choose songs from our song list too.
