Resize in Photoshop or Genuine Fractals, magnified images

The images below were scanned at 300 ppi, so they will be magnified 3 to 4 times, depending on your monitor size and settings. To see the images at the actual print size, look at the previous page.

Left image below is resized with Genuine Fractals,
right image used Photoshop bicubic resampling, both resized dimensionally 2 times original.

Note that in the 3x resizing above, the GF image is somewhat smoother (look at the woman's left shoulder). However, these are much magnified; if you stand back several feet, can you see a difference? These images, not magnified 3-4x as they are here, would have made a 12" x 16" print from a 1.3 megapixel digital camera file.

Again, these are NOT what you would see if you resized and printed the image, they are magnified several times. You would actually see the images on the previous page, as a small part of a larger image. Keep in mind that it is not possible to show exactly what a print looks like on a monitor, the best way is to look at your own prints and compare.
