The Story about Creation Creation was the third album that I recorded. I have had the pleasure in the last twenty years to play with outstanding musicians. The talent I have come to known is unbelievable. I wanted to get as many musicians as I can on this CD. Of course there is always the problem of time and money. So a lot of the musicians I wanted never made it to the studio. There was also a time limit pressured by the management team to get the album out. We recorded fifteen songs. The most songs on a CD yet. Summer Snodgrass came up with the cover design and she was also pressured under a time limit. The work that went into this album took much longer than any other album due to working with such talented people. To the artist thanks a million. Please enjoy! The Songs
The Ascension: The Ascension is about the angels not agreeing with the Father about letting us into heaven. This song was actually written a long time ago. I made some changes to it and re-recorded it. The intro features Tadyn who was 5 years old. We had to do several takes to get it down. I really wanted Tadyn's voice in the background, however, a lot of people argued that he should be up front more. Guitars take the melody with the strings. Through out the song the guitar is unison with the bass and keyboards. At the end of the song I used a percussion sample with a techno effect that distorts the sound while keeping the main drum sound realistic. Richard Falcon: percussions, electric and acoustic guitars. bass. string arrangement.

The background is layered with a classical guitar with a breath like synth behind it. The percussions are bongo driven and the melody goes from soft and sultry to fast and aggressive. One of the favorites for jazz radio. great melodic movements between the guitar and trumpet. Richard Falcon: Classical guitar. Trumpet, bass, string arrangement, Guitar Synth. bongos. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. All Rights Reserved. Misty Rain (A Girl Named): Another great song. This is a piano idea that turned into a nice pretty classical movement. I then gave the song to Steve Generuex who put a slide bass and a five string bass to cover the bottom end. Steve mastered the song at Stone Ground Studios, I then took the song and added the classical and electric guitar. The idea behind the song was to give it a flavor of the song "A girl named blue" which was pure blues driven, In this song we have a classical driven song with a nice classical guitar at the beginning, then a blues guitar (Fender guitar™ with a Fender Twin Amp™). The fretless bass sound gives this song a different feel than most songs I have written. The great thing about adding other musicians is seeing what comes out of two ideas. Steve also has his own CD out titled: Steve, Wired. You can purchase these CD at: CDBaby.com. Steve Generuex: 5 string bass, Fretless bass, Richard Falcon: Piano. Classical and Electric Guitar. Percussions. String arrangements. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. All Rights Reserved. Damaged: What a powerful song. I was told that this does not fit in my style of music. I was taking a big chance in introducing this song to the CD, I actually written another one with more of a new age sound. So the same samples that hip hop uses. The record scratches are also samples. the whisper voice is done off a computer voice! Amazing on how it does it. Most of the sounds are produced by the GR-30 Guitar synthesizer. Even some of the guitar sounds, a guitar playing guitar synth sounds. Richard Falcon: Samples, String arrangement, guitar, guitar synth,

Sonata for Flute and Guitar: Jessica Tarman who is an amazing musician and a great friend approached me several years ago to write a song just for the flute. So I did! Jessica studied with me in a theory class and also played in several large groups that I was in. Jessica is a great musician who can really fly on the flute. This song is written in a classical form, much like a Sonata accept that the chords are Jazz type chording. This gives this instrumental a jazz touch with classical feel. I wrote the main theme for the instrumental. Jessica wrote her own improve parts through out the song. This was a challenge for Jessica since she is not use to improving on the flute. We wanted to keep the song with just a flute and a guitar. I had to promise her that I wouldn't add anything else to the song. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Father's (eyes wide open): An orchestration of guitars! this song has been written and rewritten several times. This song has so many layered guitars with the strings and percussions. The open electric guitar starts out and goes through out the song, then the melody is by acoustic guitars. Lots of guitar movements. Richard Falcon: all acoustic guitars, all electric guitars. strings. percussions. bass. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. All Rights Reserved. Dance of the Irish Maidens: This is an Irish Celtic sound with the Hichriki instrument taking the melody. This instrument is a lot like the bag pipes. It also uses a classical guitar in the melody and the background is filled with a 12 string guitar. This is kept using the Celtic instruments until the over driven guitar that explodes for the chorus! Richard Falcon: Hichriki, classical guitar, bass, percussions, strings. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. All Rights Reserved. String Suite: String Suite is an instrumental that features Kate Marples. Still in high school she is an amazing musician! Kate is also a great athlete and excels in academics. The instrumental is one of everyone's favorite because of the string movements. This song has an up tempo beat and is driven by the strings. The structure of the song uses a Classical technique. The progression of the song moves in Fifths. Though the song changes keys every two measures, it is hard to tell because the movement in fifths causes it to change chords smoothly. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. Kate Marples. All Rights Reserved. Dance In The Sand: Latin base sound with amazing percussions. The song opens up with a bass then the Latin percussions. This song features a trumpet and a Carlos Santana guitar taking the melody. Dance in the sand will have you dancing even without the sand. I personally love Latin sounds and have experiment with the Latin movements. Most fans will agree that the drums make this song great! Richard Falcon: all Percussions. bass, horn arrangements. guitar. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. All Rights Reserved. Amazing: ©(traditional, arr. Richard Falcon) Just one verse played by Talia Falcon. Never forget God's grace. Talia Falcon: alto Sazaphone. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. I also features an accordion to give it an Italian feel. The cello is also present which adds to the several movements involved. The song is also written in a waltz timing. I like the feel of three/four timing and even six/eight. Ironically I have never been to Italy, however, if I do get to go. A kiss would be nice. Richard Falcon: all guitars, percussions, bass, accordian, strings. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. All Rights Reserved. Latin Love: Latin driven, this song was written some time ago with a great introduction. I kept the intro and added a mid section. The classical guitar is the main instrument throughout the song, The piano comes in and does a traditional piano fill with guitars backing it. This song is for all of the Spanish Classical and Flamenco listeners. Richard Falcon: All Classical guitars. percussions. bass, horns. © 2005 Words Without Music. Creation. Damage Records. Richard J Falcon Jr. All Rights Reserved. Song of songs: Directly from the bible's book "Song of Songs". I wanted to write a short vocal part for this album and add Gods word into the mix. Song of songs is the relationship between God and his people and Man with his wife. I then thought of Kira and John Stevens because they are both singers, classically trained and married! They agreed and rewrote the melody to make it more interesting. Kira really sounds like an Irish singer. Kira Stevens: Vocals, John Stevens: Vocals.
Your way (got to have it): The joys of marriage. I have this manager who is also my WIFE! she once told me that I never wrote an instrumental about her. I have written a lot of songs about our love for one another as a married couple, but, not just about her. So for a joke I wrote this song which is in a jazz form. Remind you she doesn't care for Jazz. And I titled it "(got to have it) Your Way". This song is a jazz classic with the piano in the background and the alto sax taking the melody, with a wah guitar. I really liked how the wah guitar fit so nicely to the sax. who would of thought. I don't know to many jazz musicians that have put that combination together. Of course there is a solo. Live we have everyone solo on this song. Piano, Sax and always me on guitar. Richard Falcon: Guitar, drums, bass, saxophone,
God Gave Love: Transcribed in French by Mary Rose Chaaban. Once a classical number, now a romantic poem. Mary Rose Chaaban, voice; Richard Falcon, Flute, keyboard, sampled percussions.
