What is a Kandi Kid?
What!?! you're telling me you don't know what a Kandi Kid is? Wow... it's kinda hard to miss a Kandi Kid. That's definately one thing that describes a kid. You may also here us called:
Candy Kids, Candi Kids, Kandy Kids, Candy Ravers, Kandy Raver, annoying.
Kandi Kids are people (not always kids in age, but definately kids at heart) who live and believe in PLUR(R):
Peace, Love, Unity, Respect, (Responsibility)
They usually wear bright colors sometimes, with cartoon characters (Rainbow Brite, Care Bears, Spongebob, Smurfs, Poppples, and others are common). They love hugging people and helping people in whatever ways they can. Unlike some other peoples at raves, Kandi Kids are almost always the people trying to make the newbies feel welcome and at home. They often listen to Happy Hardcore or other bouncy, happy electronic music from the techno, house, trance, etc. genres. Sometimes they are total e-tards, and sometimes they are straight edge clean people. Kandi Kids often wear pacifiers around their neck, big baggy pants, hair ribbons, glitter, faux fur, kandi (beaded bracelets that we (mainly girls) made and wore when we were 7 or 8) even Kandi Boys wear Kandi though. Also Kandi Kids sometimes wear visors and antennas and other intersting headwear.
The things I have states about aren't true about all Kandi Kids, just some. Kandi Kids are ordinary people (just very nice and happy and cute ordinary people).
