Decorating Tips!

Using starch put to fabric up on your walls-
if you don't like the fabric in a few months, you can take it down and put up new.
If you live in an apartment or rent a house and can't ruin the walls, you can do this, because it causes absolutely no damage to the walls.
If you screw up putting it on, you can just try again.
They are sooooooo many choices of fabric.

How to do it-
Buy the starch
Apply a thin layer to the wall
Lay fabric(premeasured) onto the wall.

VOILA!! Intsa-style!<


Felt stars and shapes
You can buy felt in sooooo many colors
it's easy to do
Adds a bit of extra pizzazz to your walls(or rugs, or sheets, or whatever)

How to do it:
Buy the felt in whatever colors you want
draw on the shapes you want
Cut
put it on (if you are putting it on fabric you can either glue, sew, or use those iron on stitch things, if you are putting it on your walls you can use wood glue, other kind of glue, or 2 sided tape)
For a little extra something you can get a glow in the dark paint pen and put dots and spirals and things onto your felt.


Rainbow ceiling
Adds awsome amounts of color and uniqueness to any room.
Simple to do.
Makes your ceiling look just as cool as your walls.

How to do it:
You can use many things to make this, you can use fabric, wall paper, streamers, posterboard, whatever.
Just pick the colors of your rainbow and measure to the length of your ceiling.
Also measure the width and then divide by the number of colors you are using to determine the width you will need in each color.
Then use glue, tacks, starch, or 2 sided tape to attach it onto the ceiling.


Ceiling fan stars
Cool way to spruce up a boring old ceiling fan.
Simple
Pretty cheap

How to do it:
Get some glow in the dark stars and drill holes through the top of as many stars as you have fan blades, plus one.
Glue a couple of stars to the fan blades(if you have varying sizes in stars you can put the big ones on the end and go in getting smaller.
Then take some fishing line and put it through the holes in the stars.
Attach the stars on the fishing line around the fan using the little eyelet screw things.
If you have a little nob or strings hanging from your fan you can attach stars here too.
Now everytime you turn on your fan the stars will spin outward with the fan(make sure no stars are too close to your walls) Also having one of these fans on in the dark or with a black light looks awsome!


Glitzy walls
If you don't want to paint your walls a new color, but you want a little something differant you can do this.
If you love glitter this is for you!
Simple


How to do it:
Get some clear glitter paint and just go nuts with it all over.
How can make little swirls with it
Or you can trace on shapes onto your walls and the just fill in these with glitter.


Chalk board!
Want a chalkboard in your room, but don't want to go out and buy one
Want a cooler chalk board?

How to do it:
Get some black semi gloss(I think) paint
Stencil out a shape for the chalk board.
Fill it in
If you want you can paint little flowers or whatever onto it now.
If you want you can add a frame too
Buy some cool chalk
