Day 47 - West Cape Howe to Torbay hut
Today marked Bernice's 80th birthday making her the oldest person to ever walk End to End. I set off early today as I planned to spend the day exploring West Cape Howe - a half day of walking south of the Bibulmun track to the Southern most point in WA. An extra 15 km of walking enabled me to see some unique and spectacular country with granite cliffs meeting the ocean.
The walking tracks on West Cape Howe were very overgrown so my recommendation for walkers is to keep to the 4WD tracks instead. Arriving at Torbay just before the Grannies we cewlebrated Bernice's 80th birthday with a rocky road birthday cake.
