Note of June - July 2000

The times always running, I also aging everyday. Dog like human, senility often come together with problems. For this reason, I was sick 2 times in a couple of months. It isn't good period for me. The first one occurred on the beginning of May. In the first times, I think I suffered from diarrhea. My family was panicky, because It was the first times that I was very sick. My symptoms look quite like human diarrhea, but it has some signs that look different. I smell very very very bad odor and my stool look like liquid. Daddy decided to take me to see the veterinarian. He gave an injection 3 times and say "You won't necessary to come back, if your symptoms don't change". Daddy was astonished because he didn't tell what disease I was got. Fortunately, my sickness got well soon. Not only by injection, but also by my family care. I say that because my disease isn't diarrhea. My brother searched the internet and found that it is Canine Enteritis. This disease cause by virus. Nowadays we don't have any drug to kill virus. It is very harmful because it can kill puppies when they receive this virus. Thanks to daddy and mommy. Their love encourage me to fight with the virus, so my immunity is raised.

But my luck stay not so long. On mid June, I cough cough cough. Uhm? I am sick again! This times my brother could quickly diagnose my disease. I suffered from Tracheobronchitis. This isn't harmful disease. Daddy took me to see the early veterinarian because he is only one veterinarian in my home town. But daddy faced with difficulty, because I am clever dog. I remember that I felt very painful when I was injected. I also remember the way to go to the clinic. So I didn't obey to go and to enter the clinic. Daddy wasted many times to take me to see the veterinarian.

Why I am often sick? In one day, brother surfed the internet and found this table...

I don't know my age. But for three period of my life : live with first family, wandering, and live with current family. It may be about more than 15 years. Thus I can compare with 90 years old human. For this data, I think I should stay at home. Don't run or contact with wandering dog too much. This will safe my life a lot, but I hate this.

I love my health. Although this period isn't good, my whole health is quite well. I think this is caused by my genes. It has been selected by nature for many generations, so it suit with my environment.

I hope that I will able to celebrate my 20th birthday.
