Q: How to read Chinese Online?

A: You need a Big-5 Encoder to view Chinese online. You have several choices here. You can either download the latest Internet Explorer, and its multilanguage support from microsoft. It's totally free.  Or, you can download a NJStar Viewer from NJStar, however, this is a shareware.  The last, but not the least option is Xgate from Whatsite. There is no software to download, You simply need to enter the url on their site and it will automatically encode the language for you.

Q:  Who built this website?

A:  This is a fan's tribute to Chin Han.  I am the sole web developer maintaining the site.  My name is Sandy, and I have been a Chin-Han fan for more than 12 years. Chances are, I will remain a die-hard Chin-Han fan for the rest of my life. Although I hardly watch any Chin-Han films nowadays, but I keep myself informed with his latest news.

Q: Where did you find all your Chin Han movies and tv series?

A: What I have collected which includes 60+ movies, and nearly all of the tv series is a ten year long process.  I visit my local video shop frequently, as well as searching through nearby Chinatown video shops.  Believe me, if you want it bad enough, eventually you will find the rarest movie you think you would never find.  Persistence is the key for any collector.

Q: Have you ever met Chin-Han, if you haven't, where to find him?

A: Unfortunately I have never met Chin-Han.  If you happen to go to Taipei in the near future, look for him playing basketball inside of TaiDa University.  I have received several emails from fans sighting Chin-han playing basketball inside of the university.

Q: What is Chin-Han doing now?  Will he be making more films?

A: Chin-han is semi-retired in Taipei.  He is very selective with new scripts.  There is no telling when he will be acting again.  Based on a recent news report, Chin Han mostly spends his time in Taipei, playing basketball, enjoying family life with his daughter, and walking his dogs for the rest of the time.

Q: Any new Romances?

A:  As far as I know, there isn't any.  He had a brief affair with Xu Gui Ying, his co-star in Because Loving you(1998).  But the romance was short-lived.  They went separate ways after finishing  Because Loving you(1998).

Q: What are his daughter and son doing nowadays?

A:  His son Richard just finished shooting another film in Hong Kong and is currently filming for a TV series for cable in Taiwan. As for his daughter Shih-Wen, she and her cousin started writing song lyrics and composing music in Taiwan.

Q: What would be his next assignment?

A: Chin Han might take on a Singapore tv series in July. He may also do some TV series in Hong Kong some time next year. Glad to see he remains so active. I'm just happy he stays in limelight - good news for us fans!
