The Film: Set in the Cornish surfing scene. For ten years local legend JC (Pertwee) has been living off his reputation as the only man to surf the dangerous coastal spot known as the Boneyard. Now he's approaching 30 and his girlfriend Chloe (Zeta-Jones) wants to know where she stands. But their relationship is rocked further by the arrival of JC's mates from London, all of whom are suffering their own crises of conscience. Record producer Josh (Mackintosh) holds the world in contempt, Dean (McGregor) is a dealer getting high on his own supply and Terry (Gunn) is jittery at the prospect of his own impending marriage. Zeta-Jones and McGregor would go on to much bigger things, but deserve to be proud of this low-key entry sitting near the bottom of their CVs.
