| The Film:Ewan McGregor stars as a cleaning man in L.A. while he writes what he hopes will be the Great American Trash Novel. He takes his boss's daughter hostage after being fired and replaced by a robot. Unfortunately, Robert isn't exactly a criminal mastermind. And Celine must guide Robert every step of the way, beginning with the ransom note..Two "angels" who are in charge of human relationships on earth, offer some unsolicited help to bring this unlikely couple together. The "angels" are so successful that the daughter soon turns on her father in order to save her captor. |

My Comments: This is a charming movie. After the runaway success of Trainspotting, director Danny Boyle's next film couldn't have been more different, I thought he would have done something a little better. Ewan even sings and dances in this movie with Cameron, which is the highlight of the movie for me. I thought he sparkled in the dancing scene at the bar..I found the movie Ok..It's just a sweet little movie that I would watch if I had nothing to do on sunday afternoon!
