Best Quote: [Anakin has just returned from killing many Sand-People who killed his mother] "I killed them! I killed them all! They're dead, every single one of them! And not just the men, but the women and the children, too!! I slaughtered them like animals! I HATE THEM!!!" - Anakin Skywalker

Ten years after the death of his master Qui-Gon Jin, Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor) busy training his young apprentice, Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen).

Anakin's training is proceding well until he receives his next assignment... to protect his old crush, Padme` Amedala (Natalie Portman). Having not seen her in ten years, he is immediatly smitten. But, it is forbidden for a Jedi to love...

Two assasination attempts on the Sentor from Naboo leads to her having to flee Coruscant, only to return to Naboo with Anakin protecting her. Meanwhile, Obi-Wan travels to Kamino, a small, unknown planet way out in the outer rim. There, he discovers that an old Jedi, Sifo-Dyas, had ordered a clone army for the Republic made from a bounty hunter named Jango Fett ten years earlier.

Obi-Wan tracks the boutny Hunter Jango Fett to another planet, Genosis, where he is captured by an evil Jedi, Count Dooku (Christopher Lee), and is sentenced to be executed.

Anakin and Padme` leave Naboo to go find his mother on Tatooine. It turns out that she was sold by Anakin's old owner Watto to Cliegg Lars, who set her free and married her. One morning she was captured by Sand People, and taken away.

When Anakin arrives, he finds out that he has a half brother, and that his mother is missing. He promptly geos out in search of her, only to find her near death. Shmi Skywalker dies in her son's arms. In retaliation, Anakin massacres all the Sand People, killing not just the men, but the women and children as well.

Anakin and Padme leave once again, only this time to Genosis to help Obi-Wan after receiving a transmission from him. But, they too are ambushed and sentaced to death.

Yoda and Mace Windu, two powerfull Jedi on the Jedi council, have also received the message. Yoda decides to visit Kamino to see for himself the new clone army. Mace Windu is to gather all the Jedi he can and go to Genosis to save Obi-Wan. Hopefully, they can stop the Sith, who are against the Jedi. Just before things get totally out of hand, the Jedi arrive to save the day, but even they can't stop the droid army. Yoda and the clones come to their rescue, and an all out war begins.

What ensues is an ultimate battle between evil and good: Count Dooku and our little green jedi master.

Not only is Attack of the Clones far better than Phantom Menace, but it blows it away! The graphics are much improoved, and so are other elements, especially the plot. But the best part of it all is the all-digital Yoda. You will see why, once you view the film.

Plot:
While it is far superior in plot to Episode I, the romantic scenes are mushy at best. Anakin falls for Padme too easily, and the ensuing romance is really unbeliveable. But, the final fight sequence is just awesome. The rest of the story flows easy, and sets the stage very nicely for Episode III.

Visual Effects:
WOW. What else can be said? Jaw-dropping, eye-popping visuals are simply stunning. Magnificant... the praise can go on and on and on... it is just that good.

Sound:
Once again, sound effects are awesome, and John Williams' score is nothing short of spectacular.

Character Development:
In Attack of the Clones, we start to see Anakin's transformation into the villinous Darth Vader. This sets him on the path towards the dark side of the force. He also gets married to Padme`, which, by the Jedi code, is forbidden...

Atmosphere:
A little bit harder to get into than Episode I, but still fun and entertaining.
