Taekanin

You walk out of the forest and into the large plains area of the realm. The path winds through a large feilds, passing lage boulders and fallen pillars, this must have once been a city. Suddenly there is a rumbling underneath your feet and the ground gives way! You are inside a large room, the sky above where the ground caved in.  You look around the inside, there and vines draping in  and climbing up the large pillars. There are tunnels with torches in them, but they are dark now. You hear a small water sound and suddenly a small stream pours down from the ceiling and into the cave, it swirls and heads right into a tunnel and away from you. You gape in awe, what was that? You hear a small giggling and out of the hole leaps a small blue chipmunk creature!

She laughs and chitters up to you "I bet that was a surprise." she smiles "I was just making sure we had enough water supply for the flood season." she says, nodding to the stream that now flows through the cave. "My name is Flowguider, I'm a Taekanin." you wonder what that is, but she immediatly explains. "Taekanin are an ancient rodent species with magical powers, we were created by a mage, but soon escaped. My power, as you have seen, is the ability to move streams and rivers from one location to another. Therefore I am classified as a 'blue power' Taekanin." she looks up at the darkeneing clouds, a surprised expresion crosses her face, then she darts to a covered corner. "I suggest you do the same traveler...." she says, and it begins to rain, but this rain isn't ordainary, it's a hot acid rain! You run to a corner before you are scorched, and stare at the orange hot rain, it begins to cool into normal rain and another Taekanin hops in, Flowguider shuffles back a few feet. The new Taekanin asks "Was anyone hurt?" he has a dark voice. You shake your head, and tell him you were almost hurt. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" he says, but his voice hints a tint of satisfaction and evil glee. Flowguider introduces him as Rainboiler, "He is an orange type with the ability to make acid rain. I try to avoid him, he's from a wild batch found in the forest, he is of a dark bunch." she whispers "They were adults on Friday the 13th." Rainboiler nods triumpahntly, but Fowguider mocks him "He sometimes cannot control his powers, and they can burn acres of land in the storm." Rainboiler glares "Not always Flowguider!" he shoots back.

Rainboiler walks over to a corner in the shadows and dissapears, Flowguider shrugs, "I can't help him." you decide to stay for a little bit longer, then head out. she nods and says, "It was nice of you to visit, please come back soon!" you smile and climb up the vines to head out on your way...
