Chapter 8 "Duh, I am going to go get something so I can cook." "Well I...... don't think you should drive." "Nick give me the keys... pleaseeeeee." I begged. "Argh... fine here." he said tossing me the keys. "Thank you." I said bubbly. "Don't you think you need some money?" Nick said. "Ooops that would be helpful now wouldn't it." "Here get whatever." he said handing me a hundred dollar bill. "Thank you." "Your Welcome but don't and I mean do not go anywhere near a mall, I know you to well." he said laughing. "Oh don't worry i'll be good I promise." "Alright.. here take this." he said handing me his phone. "Just in case you need it." "Okay thank you.... well I am going now. I'll be back soon." "Alright." Nick said walking me out to his car. "Do you want me to go with you?" he asked. "No I'll be fine." I said closing the car door. Nick bent over the door and gave me a kiss. "Be careful." he said. "I will." "I love you." he said. "I love you too." I started the car and pulled out of his driveway. Nick stood there until I was out of sight. I arrived at the store where I parked Nick's car and ran inside. I grabbed all sorts of things. Enough salad stuff to make a big salad, 7 steaks, and all kinds of sauces, and some french fries. I went to the cash register and payed for the food. I took the food outside and put the food in the car. Then I got in the car and started it then the Nick's cell phone rang. "Hello?" I said. "Hi are you coming home today?" It was my mother. "Hi mom, I'm actually at the store. I'm getting ready to leave and I am going to Nick's house and I am going to cook for the guys." "Isn't Nick with you?" "No I'm by myself." "Oh where's Nick?" "He's at his house with the other guys." "Oh okay..... so are you going to stay there awhile longer or are you coming home?" "Well if I can and if its okay with both you and Nick I would like to stay for a few days." "Well you can stay there for as long as you like just come home before school starts back. But don't you need colthes?" "Yeah I do.... Let me drop this food off and then I will come by." "Okay but bring Nick.... I don't like you driving by yourself at night."
