Chapter 9 I drove from the store to Nick's house. Before I even made it out of the car Nick was walking out the door and met me at the car. I got out of the car and grabbed a few bags of groceries while Nick grabbed the rest. We gave each other a small kiss before going inside. When I walked in I noticed everyone was watching a movie. They were glad to see me. I could easily tell they were hungry. "Wait before I fix something I need to run by my house." I said. "Okay.... are you going to take my car again?" Nick asked. "I actually want you to go with me." "Why?" he asked. "My mom called me on your cell and wanted me to drop by and she wanted you to come with me." "Okay, I'll come.... do you guys mind if I leave you here." "No." Kevin, Howie, Brian, and AJ said. "Okay we'll be back soon." Nick said. "Don't touch the food." I said while walking out the door. Nick and I got into his car and drove to my house. All the lights were on so I knew everyone was awake so I knew I wouldn't be waking anyone up. I walked up to the door and opened it. Everyone looked my way when the door opened. "Hi!" I said walking further in followed by Nick. "Hey!" my little sister said running towards me. I gave her a hug. "Mom other than the fact that I need colthes why did you want us here?" "Nothing I just thought I should see how you were." "Well then why did you want Nick to come?" "Becuase I didn't want you to be alone at night." "Oh well I am going to go get some clothes." I said heading to my room. I grabbed some clothes and anything else I needed and thew them into a small bag. I then zipped it up and tossed it over my shoulder and walked back into the living room to where Nick was standing. "Here baby let me take that." he said reaching for the bag. "Thanks." I said handing it to him. "Hold up you two.... first you could at least say goodbye to all of us and then you can at least give me a general idea of when you plan to be coming home." My mom said. "I don't know...." I said looking at Nick. "I'll bring her homw in a few days." Nick said. I guess my mom trusted Nick becuase she let us leave without anymore questions. Nick and I got in the car and headed back to his house. We walked in the door to see the guys in the kitchen eating bags of chips and making a mess from the crumbs. "What are you doing?" Nick yelled. "She's getting ready to fix us all something to eat." "Sorry man we were just getting really hungry." AJ said still shocked Nick yelled at them. "Its Okay." I said. Nick scoffed and went into the kitchen. I went and dropped my bag off in his room then I joined him in the kitchen. He offered to help but I told him to go sit down and relax. it felt like it took me forever to cook for them. It actually took close to an hour. The only thing I needed help from Nick was with the steaks. So he went outside to the grill and put them on and stayed there until they were cooked. I stayed in the kitchen making everything else. When I was finished cooking I walked into the Living Room where everyone was. They all looked up at me. "Its finished." I said letting out a sight of relief. They all ran to the kitchen table and started to grab their food. I sat down on the couch for a minute to relax. "You okay?" Nick asked. "Yeah I just need to relax for a little bit."
