| Chapter 26 ~Call a Ambulance!~ ~A few minutes later~ Nick slowly came to. Once he realized what happened he frantically looked around him. "Oh my god, where's Kristina." He said to himself as he was looking around. He realized he had gotten thrown out of the car. "Kristina! KRISTINA!" He yelled but didn't get an answer. He tried to get up but it was diffiucly, his arm was throbbing. "OWW me arm, dammit, Kristina! Kristina where are you!"He yelled looking for her. "HELP! HELP!" A guy from a nearby shop ran outside to the scene to see what happened. He was about to speak but Nick cut him off. "Call a Ambulance!" Nick looked around and finally saw her. He ran over to her. She was still in the car. He frantically tried toopen the door but was unsuccessful. He realized that the majority of the damage was done to her side. He looked in the window and saw her. She was barely breathing and had a cut on her head where blood was coming out and a few scrapes on the rest of her body. ~About Ten Minutes Later~ The ambulance sped to the scene and slammed on breaks once it reached the area. The paramedics rushed out to survey what happened and freed Kristina from the car with the help of some kind of device. The person in the other car that hit them head on was taken to the hospital with only minor injuries. But one thing was certain he was drunk. They pulled her body out of the car and put her onto a stretcher. When Nick caught a glimpse of her he broke down into panicky tears. She was so pale and the cut on her head was worse. "Sir? Sir?" A Paramedic hollared from standing infront of him. "Huh? Oh sorry." "Sir, we need you to come with us so we can check you out." "Okay." He said starring at the ambulance Kristina was being placed in. "Can you tell us what happened?" "Well I took my girlfriend to Central park where I told her I love her for the first time and she told me she loved me back." He said starting to get choked up again. "Then on the way back to the hotel we were talking and then this car was on the wrong side and all I remember after that was her screaming and everything went black until I came to." "Thank you sir.... you can go with her if you want." "Okay, thanks." The paramedic led Nick over to the ambulance that Kristina was in. He climbed in and took the seat beside her. He grabbed her hand and kissed it gently. He silently cried to himself. Once at the hospital Nick wasn't permitted to go to the area where Kristina was. He got himself checked out. He had a few cuts and bruises and a sprained left shoulder. Once he had finished getting himself checked out he went to check out Kristina's condition but no one would tell him anything. After trying numerous times he decided to call the others and let them know what happened. 'Ring Ring' "Hello?" "Brian, its Nick." "Nick where are you? Everyone's worried, they're all in my room panicking." "Me and Kristina were in a wreck." "Oh my god, are you both okay?" "I've just got a sprained shoulder and a few cuts and bruises but she's was unconscience the last time I saw her and no one here is telling me anything. I don't even know how she's doing and I just don't know what to do." "Alright Nick, calm down, we'll be down there as soon as we can get out of here." "Okay thanks Brian." He said hanging up the phone and sitting down in one of the uncomfortable chairs. *Back in Brian's Room* "Hey..... HEY.....LISTEN UP!" Brian yelled. Everyone was surprised to hear Brian yell but they all hushed instantly. His face was pale. "Brian what's wrong?" Samantha asked hugging him. "Its Nick and Kristina... they were in a wreck and they're at the hospital." Everyone gasped at hearing the shocking news. "Are they okay?" Amanda asked, concern apparent in her voice. "Nick's just got a sprained shoulder and a few scrapes and bruises." "And Kris?" Isabelle asked "She's not so good, the last time nick saw her she was unconscience." "Oh no." Samantha gasped. "Well what are we all just sitting here fro? Let's get up and go down there now." She said looking at the others. *20 Minutes Later* "NICK!" Nick sat up and turned to see Brian, Samantha, Howie, Kevin, Isabelle, Amanda, Jennifer, and AJ running towards him. "Is she okay?" Isabelle asked being the first to get there and wrap Nick in a comforting hug. "I still don't know, they want tell me anything." "Do they know you're with her?" "Yeah I think so" *Two Hours Later* "Mr Carter?" A nurse said walking to him. "Yes?" Nick asked standing up fully alert. "The doctor said he'll be out to talk to you in about half an hour to an hour, once he finishes checking your girlfriend." "Thank you." Chapter 27 |
