| Chapter 25 ~It sure took you awhile~ ~A Little While Later~ "Its a pretty night." Kristina said looking up at the stars in the sky. "Yea it is." They were walking through Central Park in New York. (I know duh. lol.) "Nick please tell me what's wrong." "He looked into her eyes. "There's nothing wrong. There's just something I want to tell you but everytime I try it doesn't come out." "Oh well whatever it is, just tell me." He looked more deeply into her eyes and held her closer. "I love you." He whispered. She looked up at him, disbelief written all on her face. Slowly a smile crept on her face and she wrapped herself around him tighter. "I love you too." Nick was overwhelmed that she loved him back. He pulled her chin up and lightly kissed her. "So that's what you've been trying to tell me huh?" He nodded. "Well it sure took you awhile."She said and both let out a small laugh. "You ready to head back?" She nodded. "Okay let's go then." He said grabbing her hand and walking back to the rental car they were using. ~At The Same Time~ Everyone was either asleep or cuddling with the guy/girl in their room. Howie was the only one alone. He needed someone to love him. Or if not love, someone to be there to hug him and occasionally kiss him. He decided to call the one person that ment alot to him. He picked up the phone and dialed the familar number and waited for her to pick the phone up. "Hello?"A person on the other line tiredly asked. "Rissa?" "Howie is that you?" She said looking at her clock. "Its nearly two in the morning here what's wrong?" "Marissa, there's something I think you should know." "What, what is it?" She said sitting up in her bed. "Rissa, I love you. I always have. Ever since that first day we met over three years ago. I've just never told you becasue I didn't want it to ruin the friendship we have. But now I can't live with it anymore. Seeing everyone here so happy and me without the person I love is horrible." "Oh Howie, I never knew you had feelings for me like that. I never thought you loved me. I've loved you since the first time I saw you and to hear you say that means so much to me." "You love me too Riss?" "Yea I do." "I there anyway you can come up here to New York?" "Uh Howie I don't know." "If its the money problem don't worry I'll pay for it, I just want you here." "I can't let you pay for it." "Yes you can, so what do you say, will you come or not?" He asked holding his breath. "I'll come." "Really!" "Yea I will." "Okay I'll have aflight ready for you tomorrow afternoon okay?" "Okay, now I am gonan go so I can get some sleep." "Okay, goodnight angel." "Goodnight Howie, I love you." "And I love you." He said before hanging up his phone. *At The Same Time* Kristina and Nick were in the car heading back to the hotel. Every few seconds he'd glance at her with a huge smile plastered on his face. She was also smiling adoringly at him. He was so happy that she loved him back. "Nick, you know what? I couldn't think of a better moment to tell you I love you than out there in the park." "Well I wanted it to be on a beach but I din't think I could havee waited that long." She laughed as he glanced at her. But her face all of a sudden turned ghost white. "Oh MY GOD NICK! There's a car heading at us!!" She screamed Nick frantically tried to turn the wheen. He herd Kristina scream then everything went black. Chapter 26 |
