Chapter 10 Nick and I went into the dining room and sat down in our seats. By the time Nick and I got our food everyone else was almost completely finished. By the time Nick and I were half way through with our food they were already heading back into the living room and sitting back on the couch and watching tv. Nick and I just sat there thinking about our individual thoughts until we were finished eating.  We went into the kitchen and began cleaning without anyone else's help or even the slightest offering of help.  I was a little mad at that but decided not to say anything for the reason that it would make Nick mad. After the guys left Nick and I actually had some time to wpend with each other. It was the best part of the whole day. We just sat in each others company for a long time. Nick held me close. Everything felt so perfect. "Hey baby...." he began. "Why why did you get a little pissed earlier." "I..... Wasn't." "Yes you were now what is it?" "It will offend you." "Oh just tell me baby." "Well when I was cleaning I found it a little rude that I didn't get a thank you or that no one even offered to help me except you. And the only thank you I did get was from you and the dishes saying 'clean me.'" "To tell you the truth baby I noticed that too. But I didn't let it get to me or get me upset as you did." "Well Nick that was just completely rude." "Well you could have told me and I would have told them to help but there was no need to get so pissed about it. Now don't you think that was a little rude of you to do that?" "Nick there is no need to lecture me I am old enough to make my own decisions. And my decision is that they were very rude and unappreciated tonight. And you should at least understand me well enough to at least agree with me on some level. And yes Nick I will be a bitch on this. I have kept my feelings inside from you and I think now I need to let them out or I am just going to frickin go off." Astonished by what I said I got out of Nick's arms and turned my back from hiom and take a minute to get my thoughts straght. "DAMMIT Why does everyting damn thing have to end so miserably?" "Nick its just not what happened tonight at dinner. That just triggered my feelings of anger and I have been wanting to get them out. Can't you see what's been happening lately?" "What.... What's been happening?" "We've grown apart." "How... How have we grown apart?" "We never do anything." "Yes we do." "Nick we do but its not like it used to be. A year ago you would find a new way to surprise me. We'd have a date filled with excitment. And now it seems as if we have already done that." He was listening and wating for me to continue. "Do you remeber our first date?" "Yeah." he said recollecting the memory. "It was absolutely romantic. You took me to the movies where we watched something that you didn't want to see because it wasn't your type of movie. But you knew I wanted to see it so you just stayed there and watched it. But you really didn't watch it. Instead the entire time you were looking at me. And there was the first time you told me you loved me." I paused. "Then we went to an Italian Restraunt by the ocean. It had the best view. And remember that gorl what wanted to dance with you so much? And how you wouldn't go without my conscent. And when you went to dance I went to the balcon. Then you came out there and gave me the best kiss I had ever recieved. And that was when you asked me officially to be your girlfriend. And I remember going home that night feeling as if I was walking on a cloud. And Nick that was the night I was sure I fell absolutely in love with you. Chapter 11 Back To The Main Page
