Continued...
About five minutes upon Kiarra arriving, a small dog-like creature with wings and tail feathers lay on the ground, beneath its once full and snow-white cocoon.
Its pattern on its feathers matched that of the forest's leaves. Astonished at the good-sized pile of feathers and fur that lay one the ground before her, Kiarra quickly scooped it up in her arms and flew to her cottage.
Laying the little thing down on her bed, Kiarra ran to her cuboard and grabbed some milk, which was still very cold. She placed the bottle on her stove which had been heated, and ran to another cuboard and grabbed a green, soft towel.
While the milk heated, Kiarra, gentily, dryed the little Egyptan. She got up to get its milk, testing it to see if it was ok. Turning around, the Egyptan was gone! "What?!? Where?!?" She cried. She soon found that the little creature was playing a game of peek-a-boo, only she found out the hard way.
No sooner had she said that, than the creature suddenly appeared in front of her, scaring her very badly. "Oh, my. I have to keep a closer eye on you," she told him with a smile on her face. "Now, what should we call you?" she asked. "I am guessing your a male," she said to him, his yellow eyes not moving from her's. "Hmmm.... tough one. I think I'll name you Spirit, because of your spirit. It fits you quite well, I think. I dunno if I'll be able to keep up with you," she told her new companion, Spirit.
With that, Spirit gladly took the milk and they both fell asleep next to each other.

Over the next week or so, Spirit grew to be up to Kiarra's waist. The pettern on his wings and tail spread to all of the feathers on them. He was one of the best looking creatures Kiarra had seen in her lifetime.
Kiarra could now ride spirit if she wanted. He loved to fly with his wings. The forest welcomed  Spirit like he had always been there. The faeries took him in like he were their's. Spirit loved to visit Kiarra's mother. The gifts and pampering he got was enough to make him want to live there.
