This is where I keep my happy pretty specimens. As in the specimens that are too good to be plopped on top of the TV or on a bookshelf somewhere gathering dust. A lot of them aren't very spectacular or worth hundreds (I wish). Some pieces in other collection pages are actually on my A Shelf but I arranged them how I see fit.

Sphaelerite crystal. Rescued from a reject pile. Very weathered and has an almost mottled appearance. Still very cool.

Orange-tinted Quartz point with cluster of smaller crystals at base. Again another bad scan.

Neat little Quartz Point. Possibly collected by my grandfather or father. Forms a perfect little "wand point."

Tumbled Rutilated Quartz. Found at a metaphysical store.

Rutilated Quartz Point. Polished. Difficult to see the tiny orange rutiles in this picture.

Arkansas Smokey Quartz.

Arkansas Smokey Quartz.

Arkansas Smokey Quartz.

Arkansas Smokey Quartz Cluster. The biggest crystal is smokey only at the top and clear elsewhere. Really cool "cloudy" effect.

Pyrite "globule." From the P&M Mine in Kemmerer, Wyoming.

"Window" Crystal. Possibly quartz or (as someone suggested) really gemmy apophyllite. Most likely quartz. Impulse buy at a metaphysical store.

Tourmalated Quartz. Unsure location.
