Whoo-eee!  How's this for a "how-do-you-do"?  I've gotten a lot of comments on this look...everything from "totally hot" (mostly from guys) to "looks like a hooker" (mostly from girls).  I think that top is actually supposed to be a dress, but on me it was a bit too short...even by my standards.  Seemed to go nice with leggings, tho.

The bizarre part about this outfit is that I actually wore it out to a mainstream restaurant!  I was getting ready with Ariel, and she assured me that I looked great.  But when I got the pics back, I about fell over.  I can't beleive I went out on a "normal" night out like this!  This is as wild as I've ever dressed for polite society.  I must confess, tho, the looks I got were precious...you should have seen the poor guy that held the door open for me.  I didn't know eyes could move that far out of their sockets.

From one extreme to the other...

Ariel and I somehow found ourselves in Kansas City, Missouri in April, attending something called the Zircon Ball.  It's an annual fund-raiser for a woman's shelter, so it was worth the price of admission.  It was just a bunch of really great, friendly people dressed as bizarre as you can imagine, and having a great party!  Ariel and I were the best-dressed ones there...we honestly didn't know it was really a spoof-kinda thing.  But hey, we fit right in anyway.  And judging by the fact that literally dozens of people came over to have their pictures taken with us, we were pretty well-received!

By the way, that slit runs clear up to my hip.  The view of my legs people were getting was probably also worth the price of admission!!  If you're anywhere near KC next April, come on out and join us at the Ball.

Another example of my REAL "mainstream" look.  Went out for a nice dinner and a drink...and I don't think I scared anybody!   Notice I don't give a damn about my height...them's 4 inch heels I have on!  I love those shoes, and I'm not gonna let the fact that they boost me up to 6'6" stop me from wearing them wherever I please!!  I've come to terms with the fact that I'm tall for a grrrl, so much so, that I don't mind flaunting it!
