Since the beginning, I've always been one of those gals who's convinced make-overs are a waste of time, and that no one could possibly do my makeup better than I do. Oops. |

From the very first time I saw a picture of Cathy, I could tell she was not only a total babe, but also a real whiz with makeup. We corresponded briefly, then kinda lost touch for over a year. She tracked me down, and we finally met for lunch. We hit it off really well, and next thing you know (well, a few weeks later, really), she's putting makeup on me. She also has a great digital camera, and some real professional-type lighting. I had been wanting to have some real portraits done for a long time, and I am so glad I waited.
This is me with one of Cathy's wigs, and I'm gonna have to go get one for myself...I love this hair!! Oh, and its her dress, too...her makeup...but they are my earrings!! |

For some reason, this pic reminds me of someone who might be a talk show host, or maybe a picture from a book cover. What do you think...would you watch a show I starred in? If you're a producer with a huge budget looking for a leggy CD, drop me a line.

As we got closer and closer to finishing the makeup job, I was about ready to jump out of my skin, I was so excited. I was literally giggling. I couldn't believe I looked this good.
Cathy claimed to be a bit rusty in her skills, but I think she was just being modest. What a fabulous job she did!! I look at these pics, and I can hardly recognize myself. What a total rush that afternoon was! |

I'm doing my best to convince Cathy that she should be doing this for a career! Every girl should get a chance to feel as good as I felt. If you know a good makeover artist in your area, I highly recommend that you take the plunge! |
