For span of 400 years, the use of Military solution proved to be wrong in addressing the Mindanao Problem. Only in peaceful procedure Mindanao will attain peace and development. Without a stable and peaceful situation, economy and development will not prosper and basic needs of people will not be delivered. The war produced big loss in properties, livelihood, displacement of people, separation of families, and migration in populated urban areas . Mostly the children were affected because they cannot attend classes and they will grow up bearing the psychological effects of war   .

The present situation in Mindanao calls for the United Nations International Commission on Intervention in State and Sovereignty to act as third party. Still, the last option should be left in the hands of Mindanao people, the Christians, Muslims and the Lumads. Christian Filipinos should see the problem from a Moro point of view and not to forget the distinct culture, and way of life of Moro as different from majority of Christian Filipino.
