Community
The Memon Community originated in the now
Sindh of Pakistan and has its roots in the provinces of Sindh, Pakistan
and Gujarat, India. It has a history of over 700 years. Memons are now
spread over the entire world with concentrations in India, Pakistan,
United Kingdom, United States of America, Sri Lanka and South Africa.
Among the millions of Memons around the world, many of them have scaled
the pinnacle of success. Whether it is in education, business, industry,
the professional field, politics or social welfare, Memons have made their
presence felt. |

Memon Brother or Sister is interested in running a Memon Website, all help
and guidance within our limits will be given.

Not a documentary
M World Online
does not want to produce a documentary on the history of the Memon
Community; the individual achievements of any particular Memon; or produce
a Directory of Memon Organizations.
Most of us have done so. But have not
succeeded in tapping the benefits of an online community simply because
Memon Internet Users just visit the Memon Website once or twice and never
return as it has nothing more to offer.

Bearers, Appeals for Donations, Ok, Ok! Fine, but not here any more with
sincere regrets. Free Email Address
on a Memon Website??? No,
thanks? Opinion Research shows that Memons, like anybody else, prefer
Yahoo! or HotmailGroups??? Definitely.
Online Groups have the tremendous benefits of interaction, discussion and
messaging.
About M World Online
Memons are a community who are proud of
their identity, origins and achievements, no doubt. But Memons are a
part of the World Community. The Internet offers a multitude of
opportunities, a sea of information and an endless array of websites. M
World Online chooses to be "Normal" website with its
predefined aims. But the Memon Section of this website is an humble effort
to honor the community of the Memons because the Owner/ the Web Master of
this site is a Memon. And Proud to be a Memon.
This website has its origins in the Flash
The Memon Monthly, The Memon Pages and the Memon Magazine.
The information reproduced here was
compiled some two years back for the Memon Pages, a segment of the Memon
Magazine and Flash the Memon Monthly which has the honor of being
the First Memon Magazine on the Internet (Started on 9th January, 2000).
Unfortunately, the website on Geocities was hacked by someone who hated
this very idea and my efforts. . Definitely, he is a very mean and
horrible person with no respect for anyone's sincere efforts, time, money
and energy.
