Mary was born in approximately 1786 somewhere in Yorkshire. In the 1841 census Joseph and Mary only have one daughter living there, Lucy aged five. There may have been other siblings as Lucy was born late in the lives of Joseph and Mary (Joseph was between 50 and 55 and Mary between 40 and 45). Mary was listed as the wife of Joseph, who was listed as an agricultural labourer in this census and listed as a farmer on the marriage certificate of his daughter, Lucy, in 1856. I am not sure when Mary died. |
