Mary was born on 18 October 1763 in Stamfordham, Northumberland. I don't know who her parents were or whether she had siblings.
In approximately 1783 she married Thomas Forester and they had six known children between 1785 and 1799. The first two were born in Horton by Blyth, Northumberland and the last four in Bedlington, County Durham. It can be assumed that their fourth child, Jane, died young as twenty-six months later they had another daughter whom they also called Jane.
I have no details of Thomas's occupation or when either he or Mary died.
