General description: Most roads are either roughly northwest-southeast or nsouthwest-northeast.
CA1 is the main road from the Mexican border to Costa Rica. It is also known as the Carretera Panamericana (Panamerican highway).
CA2 is parallel to it and runs along the coast of El Salvador. The highest known number is CA14.
