| U know ur friend likes anime when... ~U have to come up with another nickname for them because they are intent on being called Neo Queen Ryoko Akane Yuy in honor of thier favorite charcters. Submitted from: Neo Queen Ryoko Akane Yuy The below article's not really a pro-anime piece (therefore being out of place on a pro-anime website), but since my friend sent it to me, and it's much easier/less stressful/simpler to just put it up rather than invoke the rath of Han-, I figured what the hell. ^.^ YOU KNOW YOUR FRIEND'S OBSESSED WITH ANIMéS/MANGAS, YET YOU HAVE NO POWER TO STOP IT WHEN... ~you constantly have to nod and smile to get through conversations with her ~"nodding and smiling" becomes key to your frienship ~you come close to sacrificing your life in order for your friend to obtain a manga from a nice man at Galaxie Comics, while you are brutally attacked by a mean guy with a children's t-shirt ~you actually read through the animé section of your friend's website, although most of it means NOTHING to you ~you allow her to compare you to an animé character (and put her observations on her website!), although she looks nothing like you!!! ~you're afraid you'll be forced to celebrate asuka's birthday, along with the rest of the obsessed group!!!! (if we have to do that, you'll have to help me celebrate Mark McGrath's birthday~March 15~!) ~as a gift, you get your obsessive friend blank video tapes (and you're not the only one who gives a blank tape to her.... several others had the same idea!) in order for her to tape episodes of Gundam Wing/Evangelion, etc.... | Initially, my plan for this page was to put up my OWN ramblings and rants... but I gradually realized that that just wasn't going to happen. The reason? The simple fact that I'm quite a lazy person. (In fact, I don't know how I've managed to get even this much of my website completed!) Sooo, I decided to put up things that people send me here instead. Hmm.. maybe I should rename this section "Opinions"... *Subliminal message: "Send me stuff... (rep.)"* |
