People are so nice! Wuhao offered me space on his server, which is a lot better than Geocities. So, I'll be moving my page off of Geocities, which may actually take awhile. To upload stuff onto his server, I have to learn more technical stuff basically (there's no FTP) and it may take awhile to get used to that. But everything will still be here for now and I'll continue to update here. The new page is at http://lyrialla.nokel-poriash.org, although it's not updated. I'll make a notice when I official change over. Thanks again, Wuhao. :)
Oh...other updates? Well, I'm not in a writing mood right now, so I'll hold off on that journal entry until tomorrow. And I have a bunch of new pictures to put up. I just need to create pages and all that. |

I upgraded my computer to Windows XP last week, which is cool and all, but I lost a bit of functionality with some of the software I use. I still need to test out my scanner to see if it works with XP or not. XP told me it didn't like my scanner. Also, the font looked funky on this site after I upgraded, so I changed it on all the pages. If it's too small or hard to read, let me know please. I know some of you are blind. :P
Also, I took down some of the images to clear up more room. I will be uploading some new ones when I get the chance. Well, that is if my scanner is still working. Cross your fingers! I also had to block off the section of amateur photos, but fear not. I'll put them back up later this weekend. That's it for now! |

You know...it's rather weird living alone again. It's been a few years since the last time I did. I like it a lot, but it's too damn expensive, so I'll probably need to find a roommate or some place cheaper soon. It's such a pain in the ass.
I don't really like living with other people though. Not that I don't LIKE other people. Just living with them can be difficult. Plus, it means I can't do what I want. No more naked dance parties at midnight. :( |

I haven't had much time to work on this page lately, but I do continuously update my journal. All other pages will be updated sporadically (i.e. when I have time) and I will use this main page mostly for current news about me. I will let you all know when I do update one of the other sections though through this main page.
So, what's going on with me? Well, I am soon to be all alone in my apartment. My roommate and his mom are moving out this week. It'll be a bit weird being here by myself, but it's for the best. Also, let me tell you: Mother's Day is painfully slow at the mall. One person trickled in the store every now and then, but it was overall dead. That was a long eight hours... |

Yummy...a real update! Stop drooling already. I uploaded some older pictures to the gallery since I was digging through my room trying to clean up this past week. You would be amazed at the things I found...Gah.
I also put a few new pictures up of me because I am cool! Okay, maybe not, but yeh, that's what's there. Oh jeez...I just realized I have to run all the way to Rockville tomorrow. My poor car never gets a break. Up and down 95 all day, every day. Wheeeee... Too bad I hate other drivers. :( |

I'm still here!! *jumps up and down* Unfortunately, I don't have internet access currently for a good portion of my free time, so updates have been...scarce. Fear not! I will return later next week and you can listen to more of my incoherent ramblings. Wheee? Plus I'll be sure to put up some new pictures in the gallery, if my scanner ever decides to behave itself and stop eating my artwork. Bad scanner bad! :(

Okay, so Fxweb still hasn't gotten itself back together, so I went ahead and put up my old Geocities counter. Yay? I just want to keep track of how many people are stalking me afterall.
Anyways, happy belated Easter to you all. I now have more chocolate in my kitchen then I know what to do with. I think I'm going to get sick of it all in about two days. I looked in the refrigerator for dinner and all I saw were eight chocolate bunny heads staring back at me. Freaky. This brings me to a question: How in the world did the whole process of Jesus getting resurrected from the dead get mixed up with candy eggs and bunnies? Yes, the marketing world does confuse me a lot. |

Hmm, it's gotten a bit dusty here. That's not good. Is the counter working now? Actually, I really don't care at this moment, but maybe tomorrow I'll have a sudden burst of energy and be ready to take on the world full force. Then again, probably not, but we can only imagine and smile to ourselves in amusement. Poor, delusional Lyrialla.
So, I've been working on the journal the most. It helps me to write down what's going on in the utter chaos that is my mind. Half of it, honestly, I don't remember writing. What does that tell you about me? It's more fun to figure it out on your own. Anyways, I will upload more pretty pictures soon; you'll just have to wait. I promise, I have many to put up. |

Alright the counter is still not working, but www.fxweb.com (the server that runs it) seems to be down. I will wait a few more days to see if the situation fixes itself. If not, it'll be quite sad. That's been MY counter, although reset at times, since 1998! That's a whole five years, longer than I've known some of my current friends. I don't want a new one. I dislike changes like that.
Ahem, anyways, now all the pages have content. I give you permission to jump for joy now. Of course, I will continue adding to them all periodically. Now, this page isn't just an single space for me to pretend like I'm working on stuff when I'm really not. Erk...did I say that aloud? Ignore that! I'm always working, like a soldier in training. Yes sir!! *salutes* |

Things that make me mad: When things break unexplicably. I do not know why my counter isn't showing up and I don't want to go through the all too painstaking process of getting a new one. I like the one I've had, and I've had it for a really, really long time now. I hope it smartens up and fixes itself. I wish inanimate objects were a tad smarter at times. Sigh...
A bit of good news though. I have my professional pictures back and will be uploading them to the site throughout the day. Who knows how long that'll actually take, but I suppose it'll depend on how much smarter I am then my imaging program. Also, the links on the side are now functional, although some are sorely lacking in content. Poor pages. I feel bad for them. |

So, what have I actually been doing today you say? It looks exactly the same as yesterday. I've been working behind the scenes, fixing up all the intricacies of the code. I'm a geek, you see, and a perfectionist as well.
I suppose if I get some time and divine inspiration, I will work on filling in some of the content. What a concept, no? We shall see what happens. Although, I can promise you that pictures will be up within the week, unless a giant monkey attacks me in my sleep again. Damn them. Why won't they leave me be? |

Remodeling is such a pain, but I hated the old design here. It was annoying to update, and I want something simple, especially if it's going to be updated frequently. So, I'm going with lovely black/gray/white all over. Quite symbolic really.
Anyways, none of the links on the side work yet. I'm working on it though. The sugary goodness of Notepad makes me all giddy inside, but writing all the code by hand does indeed take time. So, be patient, little children. All good things come in time. |
