What do you say about a man who you admire as much as I admire as my father.
My father is the man. That made me realize, how creative I am. He let me paint the side of houses. Color on the walls before he tore them down or was ready to repaint them.
He was the first man I ever fell in love with.
I remember the days when, I used to go camping with him, up north.. I remember watching him swimming across the lake with this big strong arms.
I was always amazed by the how long his strides where, when I was walking with him.. One his steps where about two or three of mine. Which made me have to run to keep up with him. Sometimes, he would suddenly stop, and look down at me. Seeing me out of breath. He then, laugh or chuckle to himself, then hoist me up onto his shoulders and carry me. I still remember the way I felt on his strong shoulders. I felt on top of the world..
I will never see my father as an old man. I know in my heart.. He is always going to be the strong father, that I boasted about in the school yard. I said things like "My dad can hold up a house so that his workers get a board to hold it up for him. "
Right now I am thinking and smiling. "Nobody is a strong as my father."
He still is my hero and I love him.
I love you Dad!!
