As I grow older and more serene
I realize my life is incomplete and has no significance
I must shed the bonds of what has been
I must find a way to make a difference

I must start a new life that will atone for my old
I have to do something that will give a reason for my living
I have to raise my voice with a message that must be told
The message is my new life and will create my reason by giving

My new life is one voice but will bring forth many more
My new life is to unite others in a common cause
It will bring attention to our plight and open many doors
Hopefully, my new life will give reason and change outdated laws

I have no past, I am born again in faith and cause
I see horizons that were not there before
I now feel a calmness and serenity
I know my new life will open many doors
