| Nationality: Singaporean Background: "Born into a Peranakan background, I had the desire to draw at a tender age. This led me naturally into the world of art where I found beauty and tranquility. In expressing this beauty, I blend colours with feelings to capture the joy that exists. My paintings sepak for me. Formal training came only in later years. In experimenting with different mediums, watercolours really left me fascinated. thus watercolour became my most beloved medium. I have since held exhibitions in Singapore, Malacca, Thailand, Taipei and China. My paintings are collected locally and overseas." Ruby graduated from the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts.
