We took a short trip on the Gypsey out of South Harbor on Hilton Head Island. It was pretty low key, but we got to see and learn a lot. Right outside the harbor they stopped on one side of the channel and showed the kids how to cast a shrimp net into the shallow waters.
Kim didn't catch any on her throw, but one of the other girls did catch a shrimp so everyone got to hold it for a minute before throwing it back.
We also got to see how they catch crabs in traps on the bottom with rotting food. Look here for the best part of our boat trip!
