| The Peacekeepers are anything but.
Not true: they keep the peace, but it's their peace and they want some of yours. Violent,
mercenary and warrior-like the Peacekeepers totally control and dominate their species and
sector of the galaxy. Gigantic warships, unbeatable weaponry, thoroughly bad people. If
you ask them nicely they'll install a peacekeeping force on your planet, just to help you
out if don't happen to have an army. If you have an army, the Peacekeepers will kill it
and then step in to help you out.
Crichton was always statistically likely to run into the Peacekeepers when he arrived
in this part of the universe but a fluke put his ship into a collision course with a
Peacekeeper Prowler, a fightercraft flown by the brother of Captain Crais. Crichton
survived, the brother didn't, Crais is not happy. |
