I was
born October 1975 in the town of Ballarat, Victoria. Australias
population gained a point, my mother lost 8 pounds and I was immediately
shoved into a pair of flared nappies and platform booties.
Ballarat
- from the Italian 'Beautiful Rodent' - was a miners town of
days past, famous for its gold and infamous for an uprising in 1854
which resulted in the deaths of thirty diggers and six soldiers.
I grew up on a farm just south of Ballarat in a town named Pokeweed.
There I learned the ways of the world and decided to become a commentator
for the wretched. My career began with the preparatory, 'A Robot from
Zaphubb', wherein my six year-old perversity had X-15, a friendly
robot starving for oil and searching the nearest planet (Earth) for
the black liquor that would quench his appetite. With his processors
chirping, X-15 found an oil can beside a reticent lawn mower, drank
his fill and returned to his home planet where he promptly exploded.
I have
since written a quarter of a million words worth of weird fiction,
sci-fi, horror, fantasy and comedy, mostly in short story and novella
format.

I play
bass guitar for Melissiah, gothic/fantasy artist and I have inherited
a love of cartooning and drawing from my parents. I completed first
year of a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing at QUT, but decided
to defer to get some real writing done. My interests include English
language and literature, Internet development, photography, astronomy,
ancient civilizations, genre fiction, short stories, and music.
