| LOVE'S ANGEL |
| In my dreams I went walking through the woods Not for any special reason And not looking for anything specific Just passing the time I noticed a glow lighting up a clearing And wondered what it was So, having nothing better to do, I thought I'd take a look I saw a small lake there And deer visited too It was a beautiful setting Full of magick and wonder I hid in the bushes And looked about carefully Trying to find the glow That led me here this night I heard a rustling in the bushes And turned my head to see What was coming to this place Through the woods of my mind |
| She came out of the shadows And I was struck by the sight Of the angel I saw standing there Lit by the glow around us She seemed to shine herself I felt the stirrings of love I knew that this was someone I had known somewhere before She walked down to the lake And slipped into the water I watched her swim for a while Lost in the beauty before me Sadly, I turned away I knew I couldn't hold her The angel needed to fly Wherever the winds might carry her I know I'll see her again She follows in my dreams And I am better for the sight For she reminds me I can love |
