Autumn winds begin to blow.

Colored leaves fall fast and slow.

Twirling, whirling all around

'Till at last, they touch the ground.
(fall down to ground/floor)

Four little, five little, six little leaves.
Seven little, eight little, nine little leaves.
Ten little leaves fall down
(fall to floor)

But when the wind stops, the leaves sink slowly to the ground.
Lower, lower, and land quietly without a sound.
(sink slowly to the floor, very quietly)

Red and yellow, orange and brown.
(flutter hands like leaves falling)
Whirling, whirling around and around.
(turn around in circles)
Very quietly, without a sound.
(finger to lips)
Falling softly to the ground.
(begin to fall slowly)

(lie on floor)

Floppy Scarecrow

The Floppy, floppy scarecrow
Guards his fields all day.
He waves his floppy, floppy hands
To scare the crows away!
