The Basic rules of Survival

 

What has happened to you is normal. The modern world especially developed countries such as Europe have taken the responsibility of survival into the government's hands. You do not need to take any life or death decision. Now you are responsible for everything. Keep in mind the following rules.

 

Western Style Comforts are not essential to your survival

For example you can do without the following goods

Junk food

Air conditioning

TV

The Internet

If you sit down doing nothing you will be much worse off.

SO GET UP AND DO SOMETHING

 

The first thing you have to do is to defeat the following enemies. If you them before you will be able to take better counter measures.

 

Pain - This is the way your body tells you that there is something wrong ,e.g. you are wounded

Cold - Slows down the flow of blood to your mind and makes you feel sleepy and tired.

IT CAN KILL

Thirst - Your body contains several Lt's of water. In a hot environment you dehydrate a lot. Ina temperate climate you need about 2.5lt a day.

Hunger - You need a minimum amount of calories per day.

Fatigue - You need to take sufficient rest per day. (Depending on what type of exercise you are doing.

Boredom - Create a plan of what are you going to do.

Loneliness - If you are alone this may become important. Keep busy.

Frustration - Accept the situation that you are in. After accepting it, put your goals, the important and easier ones first, then progress to harder ones.
