It was Laurell K. Hamilton's grandmother, Laura Gentry, who's tales of horror originating from the Scots-Irish hill people
of Arkansas (especially those of Rawhead and bloody bones), that was responsible for her love of all things scary and
lead to her desire to write. While attending Marion, a Christian college in Indiana, Laurell received both English and Biology
degrees. She now lives in St. Louis, Missouri with her daughter, Trinity, and two attack pugs and three birds.
No news on possible movie's based on the Anita Blake series.
